You can filter Linked records in your Subforms using field data/values from the Parent/Main form. This is useful for when you have 3 tables as a many-to-many relationship.

In this tutorial

  • Example: You have a Sales Rep table that is linked to a Clients table and an Appointments table. The Appointments table is linked to both the Sales Rep table and the Clients table creating a many-to-many relationship.

    2. Now your Sales Rep needs to create an Appointment record, but only needs to be able to see and choose their specific Clients with which to create Appointments. With the new feature, you’ll be able to Filter the Subform using data from the Parent Rep form.
