General Function Configuration

Using Convert URL to Attachment option in this example

Convert URL to Attachments

• Convert URL to an attachment and add to an Attachment field
• Input Fields - Choose 1 or more fields where you have files listed as URLs
• Select Output Field - Select the Attachment field where you want to add the converted URLs as attachments
• Next, choose any Advanced Settings you need
• Click Save Action Function Details

Extract URLs from Attachments

• Extract full URLs from attachments and add the URL to another field
• Input Fields - Choose 1 or more fields where you have attachments
• Select Output Field - Select the field where you want to add the URLs This can be a URL or text field
• Next, choose any Advanced Settings you need
• Click Save Action Function Details

Calculate Filesize Sum

• Calculate the total file size of all attachments from a single Attachment field
• Input Fields - Choose 1 Attachment field type
• Select Output Field - Select the field where you want to output the total file size
• Next, choose any Advanced Settings you need
• Click Save Action Function Details

Test Your Function

• Next, Test Your Function ✔

Before using your Function, you must test it.

Install Your Function

• Then, Install Your Function in Your Base ✔ via a Schedule (recommended), a Zapier zap, an Airtable Automation, a Script in the Scripting app, or directly via REST API.
